The "2008 Technology Awareness Symposium" will challenge energy manufacturers and researchers to develop and evaluate new energy technologies while offering new ideas on how to mitigate current and potential energy systems effects on the environment. The Symposium will bring together world-class energy technology and power economic experts to explore and interactively share information concerning latest and planned future developments in energy technologies and energy supply-side issues.

Topics of discussion include energy concepts and new energy ideas impacting and influencing future energy development and production strategies, energy and electricity supply and demand, market speculation impact on energy economics, alternative energy systems development, energy conservation philosophies, the real greenhouse gas phenomena, mitigation of energy related heat thermal equilibrium upsets, stationary and motive power systems development, and future energy legislation.

This will be an interactive an interdisciplinary technical program including invited talks, panel discussions, student and industrial poster session, equipment/system displays and technology networking with engineering, scientific product and systems exhibits. The "2008 Technology Awareness Symposium" will also provide information to those new to the field who wish to learn more about energy issues that have influence on future life styles and public well-being.

If you want to share in this critical global dialogue that will help forge and shape future energy decisions, participate in the "2008 Technology Awareness Symposium" entitled "Energy's Future: Energy Supply and Climate Change."
