Thomas W. Phelan Fellows Award

The RAA Fellows Award was created in the fall of 1987 by the Board of the Association. It honors those alumni or friends of Rensselaer, who by their achievements in a chosen profession or endeavor or by their service to the Institute, have set an example for Rensselaer men and women to emulate.

Recipients are nominated by the faculty or administration. A maximum of one award, per school or department, may be presented each year.

The RAA Fellows Award is an engraved gold watch and a framed certificate. It is presented at public occasions held by the department which nominated the individual for the award and whenever feasible, a representative of the RAA will participate in the presentation.
