Team of the Year Award

The Team of the Year Award was created by the RAA Board of Trustees and was first awarded in 1981 to recognize the accomplishments of Rensselaer Intercollegiate Athletic Teams

Nominations are solicited from the Department of Physical Education and Athletics and are approved by the RAA Executive Committee.

The Team of the Year Award is a certificate which is presented by the President of the RAA or his/her designee. These certificates are presented at the Annual Rensselaer Athletic Hall of Fame/Olympia Banquet or at a function determined by the RAA Board of Trustees. One award is presented each year.
