Welcome Back!
Enjoy the campus at its best. Fall will be in the air, there will be a football game and a men's hockey game to enjoy, and campus will be busy with classes in session and lots of opportunity for you to participate in campus life.

Special Affinity Reunions
Everyone is welcome to Homecoming, but there are some special groups that will be returning to celebrate milestones and enjoy reunions:

• The Poly celebrates 125 years
• Alumni MusicFest 2008, a gathering of former Rensselaer musicians

Greek ChowderFest - Heffner Alumni House Great Room, 6-8:30 p.m. Greek alumni are invited to come together with Greek student leaders to kick off Homecoming Weekend.

MusicFest 2008 Buffet Dinner and Sing-Along - Heffner Alumni House, 6–10 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 18

Young Alumni Council Meeting - Heffner Alumni House, 8 a.m.-Noon.

Homecoming Tailgate Lunch - Held prior to the football game beginning at 11 a.m. at the Hassan Quad. Lots of great food, and a beer tent will be available.

RPI Football vs. Susquehanna – 1 p.m., '86 Field. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for non-Rensselaer students.  RPI students with ID are free. Tickets may be purchased at the gate beginning one hour prior to game time.

MusicFest 2008 Joel Dolven Recognition Program and Tours - EMPAC, 3–5 p.m.

MusicFest 2008 Rehearsal & Buffet Dinner - Houston Field House, 5–6:30 p.m.

RPI Men's Hockey vs. Sacred Heart – 7 p.m., Houston Field House. Tickets available through the Houston Field House box office. MusicFest 2008 alumni will perform the National Anthem.

MusicFest 2008

Former Rensselaer musicians will gather to reprise the successful 2006 event. Events will include a Buffet Dinner and Sing-Along on Friday at the Heffner Alumni House; Joel Dolven Recognition Program and Tours on Saturday afternoon at EMPAC, and a Rehearsal & Buffet Dinner prior to the hockey game at the Houston Field House.

Alumni who worked on The Poly will celebrate the publication's 125th anniversary. If you worked on The Poly as a student, please send us your contact information to be sure you are on the mailing list.
