Rensselaer Names Colonel James A. Knowlton Director of Athletics
James A. Knowlton, a senior administrator at the United States Military Academy, has been named director of athletics at Rensselaer. He succeeds Ken Ralph, who joined Colorado College as athletic director in August. Read more.

Rensselaer Breaks Ground on Athletic Village
The official groundbreaking ceremony to launch the first phase of the $110 million East Campus Athletic Village was held August 26. The most extensive athletic construction project in the Institute’s history, the new athletic village will improve dramatically campus athletic facilities, expand athletic opportunities, and enhance the overall student experience at Rensselaer. Pave the Way for the East Campus Athletic Village

The most extensive athletics construction project in the Institute's history is under way. The new East Campus Athletic Village (ECAV) will be a major addition to campus facilities, while expanding athletic opportunities and enhancing the overall student experience at Rensselaer. Leave a lasting reminder of your involvement with RPI by donating a paver (paving stone) with your engraved name or message. Your paver will be installed on the floor of the concourse in the ECAV. These 24" x 24" pressed concrete pavers will be part of the concourse in the new ECAV stadium. Read more and learn how to donate a paver to the ECAV.
