Rensselaer Names Colonel James A. Knowlton Director of Athletics
James A. Knowlton, a senior administrator at the United States Military Academy, has been named director of athletics at Rensselaer. He succeeds Ken Ralph, who joined Colorado College as athletic director in August. Read more.

Rensselaer Breaks Ground on Athletic Village
The official groundbreaking ceremony to launch the first phase of the $110 million East Campus Athletic Village was held August 26. The most extensive athletic construction project in the Institute’s history, the new athletic village will improve dramatically campus athletic facilities, expand athletic opportunities, and enhance the overall student experience at Rensselaer.
