Annual Father's Day Summer Picnic
Sunday, June 15, 2008

The Dallas - Fort Worth Chapter's annual picnic was blessed with great weather, good food and great friends!  Everyone enjoyed a great afternoon of fun, tales and new friendships.

Incoming freshman Louis Peryea, and his parents, and one current student, Rory Arrendondo and his parents attended. The students got great insight from some recent (and not so recent) alumni. Everyone won a raffle prize but the best was just getting together and having some fun.

"White Out" Webcast: RPI vs. Cornell Men's Hockey
Saturday, February 23, 2008

“White Out” is a growing tradition at Rensselaer. Similar to Black Friday, fans support the team by wearing all white. This year the Engineers played Clarkson, with a 1-3 loss. On Saturday, Feb. 23, alumni gathered to watch the Webcast live at the Wizards Sports Cafe.

McKinney Avenue Trolley Tour
Sunday, October 7, 2008

The Dallas/Fort Worth Alumni Chapter “Discovered” the McKinney Avenue Trolley on Columbus Day weekend with friends, family and fellow alumni. Host, alumnus Arnie Paddock ’63, was our trolley driver and narrator for the evening. Our group rode back in history on a 1930’s restored trolley on the only streetcar line in North Texas that operates such trolley cars.
