Tuesday, December 29 & Wednesday, December 30: 45th Annual Great Lakes Invitational Hockey Tournament! The RPI men's hockey team has been invited to participate in this tournament at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. Come cheer on the Engineers as they begin on Tuesday, December 29, at 7:30 pm against Michigan. Details to follow regarding a pre-game gathering at Hockeytown Cafe!

Hello Michigan Rensselaer Alumni,
You may or may not be aware of it, but you shouldn't be surprised that RPI achieves most of its in-person high school student recruiting through a large network of alumni volunteers. After all, one of the main things we learned at RPI was to take things into our own hands and get it done. Would you like to be involved with recruiting Michigan's best and brightest high school students to attend RPI? We have a team of dedicated alumni who attend various college fairs at high schools and other locations in southeast and central Michigan (and we'd love to expand to other areas of the state). We could use you on our team. It's easy, fun, and rewarding to talk to students and their parents, and find the students that you just KNOW would be successful at Dear Old RPI. No need to worry about whether or not you can “handle” this. We'll team you with an experienced volunteer recruiter and bring you up to speed on the latest info that you need to know. Believe me, there's nothing better than seeing that light go on in a young person when they realize that RPI is the sort of place they're looking for.

Call for Regional Leadership!
The Detroit Alumni Chapter needs new leadership to become active again! If you would like to lead this group, help with coordination, host an event, or simply get involved with other RPI alumni, please let me know!
