DC-Baltimore Alumni Chapter Awarded Craig W. Angell '35
Chapter of the Year Award for 2008-09
The Rensselaer Alumni Association (RAA) announced that the Rensselaer Alumni Club of DC-Baltimore will be awarded the Craig W. Angell '35 Chapter of the Year Award for 2008-2009. The Chapter was recognized at the Annual RAA Awards dinner during Reunion Weekend in Troy.
Congratulations to the entire leadership committee for all their hard work and dedication to rejuvenating the DC-Baltimore area. The activities planned throughout the year embodied what an alumni Chapter is all about – providing alumni with opportunities to make valuable personal and career connections, helping them to stay on top of professional and global issues, and encouraging all to be advocates for Rensselaer.
Dues-Paying Members Get Perks!
It’s a fact. Dues-paying Chapter members receive benefits that non dues-paying Chapter members don’t. We’re all looking for ways to get the inside scoop, meet new people, form new career connections, attend interesting events, and save money while we're doing it. Well, all of these benefits can be yours by sending in your Washington D.C./Baltimore Alumni Chapter dues today.
As a dues-paying Chapter member, you’ll receive discounted rates to most Chapter events, first preference at limited seating events, and you’ll be supporting Chapter initiatives. Dues enable your local Chapter to continue offering the best career networking events, unique cultural events, and member exclusive communications. You’ll also enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that you’re helping to defray the costs associated with bringing you top tier Chapter events and communications.
Chapter dues are $20 per year. Recent grads (last five years out) pay only $10. To renew your membership, or to begin enjoying dues-paying advantages, send a check made payable to “Rensselaer-Alumni Chapter of Washington D.C.” to Nagesh Rao ’02, 1884 Columbia Rd. NW, Apt. 712, Washington, DC 20009.
