Rensselaer welcomed over 1,100 alumni and guests for Reunion, June 7-10, 2007. (See column at right for more statistics.)
This year's festivities had an added focus on families, with fun events for younger children, like an athletics day camp and a pool party, and an admissions session for college-bound children.
Other events included Dr. Jackson's “State of the Institute” address, a Technology Fair and tours, the Parade of Classes and picnic (featuring ice cream from The Snowman!), and a Hawaiian luau and fireworks. Seminars, Troy and campus tours, and individual class dinners and gatherings completed the weekend.
Izzy Warshaw ’23, celebrated his 84th Reunion, leading the Parade of Classes. Participants offered various bribes to the judges, but no one could outshine the 50th Reunion Class of 1957, who took home "Top Gun" honors. Click here to see the entire schedule of events.
A big thank-you to all the volunteers for each class who made the weekend possible!
