Free parking for the conference is available in the RPI Parking Garage, located off College Avenue. The garage is a very short walk across a campus green from the conference venue. The garage will be open to attendees of the conference from 7 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Mark your calendar for a one-day conference titled “NanoBiotech 2007.” This year's conference will be held in the Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies on the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY ($90 registration fee, $60 for Rensselaer alumni; free to RPI faculty, students and staff). This is the fourth conference since 2003 in a series of international conferences pertaining to nanotechnology and biotechnology.

“NanoBiotech 2007” will highlight cutting-edge R&D and explore commercialization opportunities of nanotechnology, biotechnology and related science and engineering fields. We have organized a multi-disciplinary conference that will offer networking opportunities to researchers from industry, government and academia; engineers; physicians; ethicists; environmental scientists; intellectual property practitioners; lawyers; business professionals; technology transfer specialists, policy makers and venture capitalists.

Abstracts from the conference will be published in the peer-reviewed journals, Nanotechnology Law & Business and Nanomedicine. Issues of these journals will be distributed free to the first 100 full registrants. The conference will feature 20+ speakers, including 2 keynotes and a networking luncheon. All presentations (20-30 minute Power Points) will be fast-paced, focused and will rely upon extensive color graphics and animations to reach the diverse audience.

The conference is limited to the first 200 registrants. The recommended hotels are Franklin Square Inn and Suites at (518) 274-8800 and the Best Western/Rensselaer Inn at (518) 274-3210.
