The following equipment is available at the Heffner Alumni House on a first come, first served basis.  Make arrangements for equipment use through the Heffner Alumni House coordinator.

If additional audio visual equipment is needed, (LCD projectors, laptops, etc.), on-campus groups must make arrangements through IT Operations at (518) 276-8282.  Off-campus groups must make arrangements through the Office of Conference Services at (518) 276-6694.

If additional furniture is needed, (tables and chairs), arrangements must be made by the event sponsor to rent the furniture through a local rental company.  All arrangements must be approved by the Heffner Alumni House coordinator prior to finalizing the equipment order with the rental company.

Alumni Conference Center Sound System
The Alumni Conference Center’s built-in sound system may be used with a handheld microphone, lavaliere microphone, or the Heffner Alumni House podium.

Easels
A maximum of 3 easels are available and may be provided for use in any room.

Flip Chart
A maximum of 5 flip charts with paper and markers may be provided for use in any room.

Great Room Sound System
The Great Room built-in sound system may be used with a handheld microphone and the Heffner Alumni House podium.  The system has two wireless microphones and is compatible with the Heffner Alumni House podium and can be used in conjunction with a CD player.

Internet Connectivity
Internet hookups are available in every area of the Heffner Alumni House.  Wireless internet is available throughout the building for users who have an RCS ID and VPN client installed. Off-campus groups may utilize this service, but must make arrangements prior to the event with the Heffner Alumni House coordinator.

LCD Projector
The LCD projector is used with any computer, including laptops to project presentations. The LCD projector is available for use in any room.

Overhead Projector
An overhead projector is available and can be used for transparencies only, not with laptop computers. The projector is available for use in any room.

Piano
A baby grand piano is available in the Great Room.

Podium
The Heffner Alumni House has one podium with a built-in speaker and may be used in any room.

Portable Screen
Two portable screens are available for use in any room.

Speaker Phones
Speaker phones are available in all rooms. All calls to outside of campus must be preceded by a “9."  Conference call services must be arranged in advance by the event sponsors.

Tables and Chairs
A variety of sizes and shapes of tables are available, ranging from 4', 6', and 8' rectangular to 60" rounds.  200 chairs are also available.

Television/VCR Combo
A television/VCR combo is available for use in any room.
