Rensselaer Alumni Travel
Why Not See The World?
Calling All RPI Young Alums (and friends and family)
The Rensselaer Alumni Association is pleased to present special trips designed especially for Younger Alumni/ae and their families
We’ve heard you say that you want trips that are less expensive, of shorter duration, and go to destinations that are easier to get to. Well, we’ve got three suggestions that should fit the bill:
1. A week in New York City & The Historic Hudson Valley, from July 11–17, 2008.
Here’s a great chance to combine four days (three nights) in the heart of New York City, followed by three days at a Dude Ranch in the historic Hudson Valley. This is a modern resort – a dude ranch that’s designed for families. Bring the children along for a trip you’ll remember always. Visit Times Square, the Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, Chinatown, Greenwich Village, Park Avenue, and so much more. And we’ll enjoy a Broadway show, and dinner at one of the city’s famous restaurants. Then it’s off to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, before spending a full day at the resort ranch in the famed Catskill Mountains, with hay rides, paddle boats, and activities galore. Prices start at $1,999 per person.
2. A long week-end or a full week Aspen Adventure, from August 17–24 or 20–24, 2008.
Spend a week with us in the storied playground of the rich and famous. Stay in the heart of Aspen, Colorado, as we enjoy a
get-acquainted cocktail reception, a sunset dinner tour, and
an outdoor concert at Snowmass Mountain. Enjoy hiking,
yoga, whitewater rafting, downhill biking, back country
jeep tours, horseback riding, and so much more. Prices start at just $1,299 per person.
