Tutoring & Engineering 4 Kids

In discussions over the past year to plan our Reunion,  we were struck by Dr. Jackson's identification  of the problems in engineering and science education in her talk, Quiet Crisis. This in turn raised the subject of tutoring and how the Class of '58 might help in this area. For example, some of us might be thinking "what can I do after retiring" or "what do I do after I get tired of playing golf."

Chet Vogel and Chet Martine will make brief remarks at the Class Dinner on Friday about getting kids interested in science & engineering and about tutoring as a retirement activity.
