Class of 1983 Gift
25th Reunion Gift
Remember the Chrinitoid? This was a temporary gift to RPI sculptured by George Rickey. It is no longer at RPI and is rumored to be in Zurich, Switzerland. What a memorable landmark during our time at RPI!
How can we give a memorable gift from our class to the institution? Have you seen the wonderful things happening at RPI - the building renovation and construction? The qualfications of the staff RPI is attracting? The number of applications from top-notch high school seniors that the Institute is receiving? All of this is aided by the generous donations from us - the RPI Alums. Our 25th Reunion is a great time to get involved with supporting the world-class education of RPI.
To help Rensselaer continue with its development as a world-class engineering and science institution, we have established the following goals for the Class of '83 Gift based on current giving levels of our class:
NOTE: Updated 5/20/2008 - actuals are in red. We are doing great so far! Thank you!
- Total Class Gift: $50,000 ($178,188)
- Number of Patroon Donors: 15 (6)
- Percentage of Class Donating: 25% (19%)
Having 25% of our class donating in honor of our 25th Reunion would be fantastic! And just what is a Patroon? That is an alumnae who has given $2,000+ in one fiscal year. Remember - your donation needs to be in by 5/15/08 in order to count for this year's Reunion gift.
There are several ways that you can make your class gift: you can use a CREDIT CARD for an immediate gift. You can make pledges and payments over a scheduled time frame by downloading the GIFT AGREEMENT FORM. You can also donate APPRECIATED STOCK or from your IRA. Be sure to indicate you are giving in honor of the Class of 1983 25th Reunion Year whenever giving to Rensselaer this year.
As giving progresses, we will provide updates on this site. Thank you for your continued generosity in support for quality education at Rensselaer!
